I am going to start off by saying delicious , delicious, delicious. I made this appetizer over the summer to take to a get together. It was easy to make and it was perfect for the season. This is a MUST MAKE AGAIN appetizer and if i can find ripe peaches any time of the year, i will definitely make this year around, and if i cant I may even try using canned peaches ( Shhhh! ) I hope you find this just as tasty as I did !
Sliced french bread ( grilled or toasted )
One large ripe peach
Ground black pepper
Thinly sliced prosciutto
Cut peach and remove seed, cut peaches halves into small slices – set aside
Slice bread about 1/4 in thick – about 12 slices
Grill or toast to desired crispness
Spoon 1 tablespoon of ricotta cheese on to toasted bread
Sprinkle ground pepper on top of ricotta
Tear a slice of prosciutto and add atop of cheese and pepper
Add a slice or two of peach
Finish crostini off with a drizzle of honey
READY TO SERVE 🙂
